- Audio Research Anniversary Preamplifier is an amazing product with its stock Sovtek 6H30N-EB tubes. Replacing these with NOS Russian Military Grade Refklecktor Super Tubes makes it awesome. Replacing the dual triodes in the power supply and the main unit gives this the mid-bass and low end of the best. I have 10 of these in the two units 2 in the power supply and 8 in the main unit. The good news is these have less than 100 hours on them. The preamp has been in the box since March 2016 unused. I am now forced to down size the system and this is a big piece of equipment with two chassis..
- The original tubes are also included and have approximately 1,000 hours on them.
- The umbilical between the units is 48" and will allow for a side by side placement or and over under placement.
- I have rated it an 8 because of it being seven years old. Not because it has and damage to the unit. The plexiglass tops have some surface scratches but nothing of significance.
- Buyer will pay PayPal fee. Please contact seller for payment options. PayPal will cost you $300+ a certified bank check and priority mail is maybe $35.00.
