Used less than 50 hours since JL factory certification to 100% as new. Price is for one sub.

Both of the V2 F212s are now sold. The V1s (in the pictures show all 4) are #s 3 and 4, going from left to right.

Could possibly be interested in a trade deal for the right FPB or KSA series Krell (something known for good to great bass control) or possibly a pair of the V2/V1 F112 (have something I want to try using a CR1 ... figure if it doesn't work the 112s aren't as much of a PITA to ship) if buyer could bring the item(s) here when picking up the sub. Trade value offered for the smaller JLs would be on the low side (I can get them new with warranty at discounts). Fair market value for other items determined by using completed listings search on HiFiShark and not the bluebook here.

Sub has less than 50 hours on it since going back to JL for the factory re-certification process which makes them 100% as new (JL's words) . In addition it was re-cased which is just what it sounds like ... the components were all reinstalled inside brand new casework so the cosmetic pieces are actually new and I applied a coat of wax as soon as it came out of the box to help prevent any of the swirls you can get over time with a gloss black finish.

To be clear ... this is not what most companies, even many high-end ones, classify as factory refurbished where a unit gets shipped off to one of the giant assembly line repair warehouses that warranty work is farmed out to these days and can be EXTREMELY hit or miss.

This work is done at the JL factory where the subs get scrutinized to the point that they replace even minor components in the amp if they're slightly out of spec ... and also update any of the parts that got tweaked or slightly updated over the product run.

The cost for this service (certification back to 100% and re-casing) was close to $1000 per sub (there were two, see below) and I'll provide the buyer with documentation to keep with the sub which helps if you ever decide to sell it on. The boxes and packaging are brand new (they say V2 on the side since they have the same dimensions .... oddly enough, my actual V2s can in V1 boxes that just had a sticker on the side to "update" them) as well.

Quick story behind the reason I'm selling. I had 3 of the F113V2s in my system for about a year and loved them but always had the itch to try out the F212 so when a buddy at an authorized shop offered me two the V2 F212 at a price I just couldn't pass up I pulled the trigger thinking I'd just keep one of the F113s in the back corner of the room that I use to balance things out.

When a package deal on a pair of the V1s that were still sitting at the JL factory after being re-certified came up my OCD got the better of me and I bought those as well. I actually tried to figure out how to use all 4 in the room but it just didn't make sense so now I have one of the V1s as slave to a V2 in the front of the room and the other V2 in the rear corner .... and even I can't justify putting a 220lb sub in my bedroom.

Please feel free to ask questions. I've had the V1 versions of the F112 and F113 in the past before switching to another brand and then coming back to JL when I got the V2 F113s.

I won't lie .... the digital EQ system in the new versions is a very big step up from the fairly simple original version. The mechanical changes were pretty minor though and cosmetically they're identical from the front (see pictures) other than the word "digital" added before "automatic room optimization" on the front panel. If you've been thinking about getting 2 of these and don't want to shell out the $$$ for 2 V2s getting one and using a V1 as a slave (like I was doing in the front of my room) will get you 99% of the way there.

Listing is for local pickup (or trade if applicable) mainly because I'm a private seller and with no discounts on freight the cost to ship these (250lbs in the box before adding pallet weight) takes the money to where it probably doesn't make sense. If the buyer has access to discounted freight and can arrange the pickup I can get the sub packed and out to my front walk. Work is busy now so I don't have time to do anything more than that.

Pictures showing the multiple subs are all recent, after they were pulled from the system. The few showing them boxed and/or wrapped are from when I un-boxed in December. Scrutinized them from all sides when taking the more recent pictures and could find no issues .... rated 9/10 because I don't rate anything 10/10 if it's been out of the box and used.
