Transparent Reference Digital Link, RDL1M.

I cannot seem to find the box for it but will keep looking.  I'm sure a replacement can be purchased through Transparent if you really want one.  There is no serial number on these cables, so it will not need to match the box.

Please note that much older versions of these cables are often listed for sale.  As there is no serial number and "XL," "MM," etc. nomenclature on them, it is very important to educate yourself and know the differences.  The very old ones with beveled edges around the connectors are of the XL generation.  MM generation of this cable came with the round, smooth connectors.  The ones with an ARROW on the jacket, such as this cable are derived from the newer Reference XL level digital cable technology.  They are the first "Generation 5" products to be released and have the newer technology.  Thus, this is a much superior product than many other RDL1s that you will see listed.  This is straight from the mouth of a Transparent rep.

Please also see my Cary Audio Cinema 11a for sale.  Amazing preamp performance for a processor and does all HD audio formats.  Could bundle.

From Transparent:

Since 1997, Transparent's Reference Digital Cables have set the standard for ultimate digital signal transmission, but Transparent has a strong commitment to continue to push the parameters of the current state of the art. Dielectric materials and extrusion techniques, conductor size and composition, impedance matching, shielding, and connector technology all affect noise and jitter in high-speed digital signals.

The new Transparent Reference Digital Link benefits from a complete re-design that incorporates these latest technical advances. Transparent Advanced Expanded Foam Technology enables a digital cable's insulation to be foamed and extruded to a more precise thickness and uniform density than was ever possible in the past. This superior control of the dielectric maintains characteristic impedance, reduces signal loss, and lowers noise. With this breakthrough in freedom from noise, Reference Digital Link delivers important improvements in fundamental richness, dynamic range, and resolution.

 FEATURES

  • Heavy, polished, solid core OFHC center conductor.
  • Super quiet Advanced Expanded Foam Technology ensures superior stability of characteristic S/PDIF impedance.
  • Two high coverage OFHC braided shields separated by a Mylar coated foil shield keep noise out.
  • Custom designed RCAs make 360-degree contact with the inner shield to maintain the impedance of the cable at the termination point, thereby reducing jitter.
  • Custom RCAs are standard. Scientific grade BNCs also available.
