Unit is in excellent working and cosmetic condition. No scratches or marks to the unit's exterior. There is a spot or two on the front panel where the screened lettering has rubbed off, but it is literally a spot or two. The pictures give an accurate portrayal of the unit. I'm rating this a 7 to stay within the letter of the law for Audiogon ratings due to the spots of the silk screened letters, but this is the cleanest 7 you will ever find and would be rated an easy 8 or 9 if not for the letters. Interior (from what I can see through the bottom of the unit) is clean with no leaking capacitors or any other issues.
A note about the headphone output: The amplifier does not put its full complement of power behind the headphone output. It uses a separate headphone chip instead. I tried to run my Audeze LCD-3 headphones off of it and it did not work well. Perhaps the unit will yield better results with more efficient headphones.
Selling because I have five amplifiers and I need to cull the herd. This would be perfect for a desktop system with reasonably efficient speakers or for a larger room with high-efficiency speakers (like Omega, Decware, Zu, Klipsch, and others). It really sounds fantastic, with a full body and more power than you would otherwise think. If you need more than one set of inputs, it's easy to hook up an input box or a passive preamplifier to it.
Let me know if you have any questions about the unit and I will be happy to assist.
