Description

Its power supply is based on an oversized audiophile transformer of 700VA. It has 4 RCA inputs including one to receive different types of optional cards (digital, network, phono, etc. ..) and XLR input and output. It also includes a DAC that allows you to listen to one of two sources connected to the optical or coaxial inputs. It offers a "Pre-Out" output for bi-amplification and 2 Subwoofer outputs. It has in front a headphone jack format 6.35mm.

Its power of 120 watts per channel under 8 ohms (or 200 watts per channel under 4 ohms), works in class A up to 5 watts and class AB beyond, from a double parallel push-pull of transistors bipolar complementary Toshiba 2SC5200 / 2SA1943, capable of delivering 15 amperes each.

The structure of the EX332D is similar to the double-mono, from the secondary windings of the huge EI type transformer, with a power of 700 VA, mounted in the central position, for an optimal balance of the mechanical masses. After fast diode rectification, the current is smoothed by capacities totaling more than 30,000 μF per channel.

The preamplifier section has its own control circuits, independent of those of the power stage power supply. In order to protect the processing of low-amplitude signals, a shield, located behind the one-centimeter-thick façade, houses the preamplifier. Its gain stages include a small number of JRC 5532 operational amplifiers and some transistors.

Conscious of the technological evolutions of the high-fidelity, we have created, inside the EX332D, a site receiving an optional card, sold separately.
