The Equipment:

Krell Foundation 4K - This unit had just been to Krell for a full update on all hardware and software before I bought it about 6 months ago.  It's condition is "like new."  Of course when I installed it in my media room, I did all of the most recent updates, etc.

Krell Chorus 5200 - This unit I bought from an integrator friend of mine.  He had had it in his rack when he still maintained a showroom.  It is a couple of years older than the Foundation, and I would say its condition is "good."  It has a couple of scratches on the case (not on the front panel) that would be the kind you might be able to make with a fingernail, etc.  Very minor.

Notes:  I will not bore you with all of the tech specs.  You all know how amazing this combination would be for an esoteric-level home theater....as well as being able to be enjoyed if you just wanted to use two channels and use it with something to stream lossless music through it.

The Deal:  The truth is, its really killing me to have to part with it, but the truth is, I need the money.  The Foundation is currently retailing for $7500.  The Chorus 5200 us currently retailing for $8500.  I want half.  I am asking $8000.  I am not really a "wheler-dealer," so yes, if you would be willing to do something right away, I could let it go for $7500, but I really don't want to go below that.  If I can't get a fair price for it, I'll just keep it and enjoy it.

To Sweeten "The Deal": We all know you will need 5 pairs of high-quality XLR's to make this combination sound right.  I have 5 pairs of Audioquest 2M Red River XLR's that I will throw in with it....but again, this is to encourage a quick sale.  This is $745 worth of cabling.  As a side-note to that, these were a gift and I would actually rather not part with them if by any chance you have a some balanced cables that you prefer using.
