I purchased this turntable as New Old Stock from B&H Photo in 2012, it is in immaculate shape - cosmetically and operationally.  No scratches, nicks or mars including the dustcover.  Check my feedback and you'll see that I'm very honest about the condition of the gear I sell.  It has never been used for DJ’ing and has never left the cabinet top it sits on in the picture.  I am the only person to have ever handled it and would estimate I have played 2 records per week since buying it.  The table sounds fantastic; it is quieter than any belt-driven table I've ever owned and its speed stability is perfect.  

This SL-1200MK2 is totally stock - no modifications whatsoever!   I did snip off the spade terminal the end of the grounding wire because it was too small to fit the grounding post on my McIntosh MA6600 (too small for most pre-amps, I'd bet). You can crimp on a new one however most feel bare wire provides a better ground connection anyway.   

Yes, $900 exceeds usual prices for a used SL-1200MK2, however this unit is in extraordinary condition.  Check out listings on eBay and you'll see nearly every other MK2 being sold is fairly beat up, has been devalued by DJ use, has had dubious modifications, or is from overseas thereby requiring  a transformer.  I scoured all the listings - I found nothing that compares with this in terms of condition.  Finding one like this is very rare. Plus, this mk2 is being sold by a fellow A-gon'er w/ excellent feedback.

I have all of the original box/ packaging and literature that came with the turntable; these are also in excellent condition.   I do not have any of the materials for the cartridge, though instructions are available on line.

The original box is not sufficient for shipment so it will be double boxed which will cost about $30 at the UPS Store.  Buyer is responsible to pay this, plus shipping cost.  Dimensions of outer box appear in shipping calculator   Local pickup is welcome!  I live in Suburb of Phila., PA.
