Hsu Research VTF-15H MK2 (VTF-15H) Pair Available

NOTE: Audiogon system only has listing for a "VTF-15H MK2" - these are both MK1 NOTE: THESE ARE FOR ARIZONA PICKUP ONLY - WILL NOT SHIP Selling my pair of HSU Research VTF-15H subwoofers (black) - prefer to sell as a pair. Asking $600 each. Specs are below. These are large, heavy units with 15" drivers - make sure you have the space for them (26" tall, 18" wide, 28" deep). The bass output & extension is ridiculous. The condition is very good.... just simple black boxes. Any artifacts or cosmetic issues are very minor and almost unnoticeable. They are approx. 4 years old. Both subwoofers have only been used in a 2-channel stereo setup, never is a home theater setup. they both have always been run with both ports sealed and the Q setting all the way down. The gain has been at about 30% for their entire life. This was setup for the tightest, most linear output. Even with these incredibly modest settings, the bass in my room is through the floor - but again, I am only listening to music. If you are planning to use for a home theater setup, you may want to change some of the settings for more "bloat" or extension, but for music these are simply amazing. I previously owned a pair of the VTF-2 subs and they were also great subwoofers. These HSU subs are very tunable to any room or taste with the VTF porting and the controls on the back. I have owned many, many subwoofers over the last 25 years and none have the "bang for the buck" like HSU. The only reason that I am selling these is that a friend of mine is giving me a great deal on some other subwoofers, so these need to find a new home for them.
