HI, THIS IS A NORTH STAR DESIGN DAC - IMPULSO THAT WAS MADE IN ITALY . IT IS SILVER IN COLOR . IT RETAILED FOR AROUND $1,300 THIS WILL MAKE YOUR SYSTEM SHINE . IT WILL MAKE A $200 CD PLAYER SOUND LIKE IT IS WORTH THOUSANDS . I USED THIS FOR A FEW MONTHS WITH A MACINTOSH C 220 PREAMP . BUT I UPGRADED TO A MACINTOSH C2600 PREAMP SO NO LONGER NEED IT . IT HAS BEEN STORED AWAY IN THE ORGINAL BOX FOR MONTHS . HAD A FEW FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS AND NEED TO SELL IT . ANY QUESTIONS CALL OR EMAIL ME .
