Marantz SC-7s2 Preamp -A Classic and in Excellent Condition

This preamp has been one of the most enjoyable preamps I have owned. I've owned in the past Rowland, ML, ARC, McIntosh 2 (C500 series) box preamp, and a few others and this preamp were as good as any of them and the most musical of them all in my system. This is a true balanced designed XLR input and outputs. Has the natural sound of a good tube amp with the dynamics of a solid state preamp. So sweet highs great midrange and fast and dynamic bass. It makes listening to music just enjoyable and is what our hobby is about. This is an emotional preamp. Natural sounding without the hype in any one area of reproduction. This is about as good as it gets. In today's market, the Luxman C-900 would be a lot like the Marantz sound wise, built quality just as good. Quote from a reviewer that says it better than I could and I would agree. There is this "refinement without chill" that is almost, but not quite delicate (it will still rock like a hurricane). The overall level of detail is right at the apex, but without the clinical cast, that mars many of the most revealing components. The Marantz is always sweet, without undue coloration or added warmth. To top this level of performance you have to get into the serious money. Jazz, Blues, Vocals, and Classical are reproduced superbly. Bottom end as good as your amp and speakers. My Dynaudio Confidence speakers and my Quads really shined with this preamp. I purchased this only 4 years ago. One owner, myself. It been set up on my rack and moved only to clean. This looks close to brand new. I am including a power cord upgrade from the stock power-cord the Anticables Reference 3 that cost me $330.00. This unit is extremely well made (50 lbs.) Ultra low noise.
