MXR linear preamp model no. 139

Hello, for sale is a MXR linear preamp model no. 139. I have had this for years. It is a rare model designed by MXR for home audio use. MXR (Inc.1974) is famous for guitar mixer/pedal/amplifier products. Based in the USA in Rochester, NY. Well, this preamp is in excellent shape and sounds phenominal. All controls and switches were cleaned and lubricated by an expert tech. The preamp has 1 set of pre outs. Inputs are tape 1, tape 2, aux, tuner and phono. Excellent sounding phono section. Headphone jack, volume and balance controls. Gain high or low switch. Also has LM RM Reverse or Stereo switch mode. This changes the sound. I put this up against my new PS Audio Stellar Gain Cell Dac / Preamp, and it holds its own. An excellent sounding piece. Truly a collectors piece. I have never seen another one anywhere.
