Bel Canto Ref1000 MK2 mono blocks. Clean, powerful and neutral. In my opinion, the upgrade for the REF 1000s improves
these amps in very important ways. Essentially what was before a very
fine amplifier is now even better and importantly by a fairly
significant margin. As such, anyone owning the original version of the
REF 1000s has an opportunity for a major improvement in overall
performance for a reasonable price. One the other hand, those looking
for a superb musical amplifier, something with power, dynamics, control,
finesse and musicality – I strongly suggest checking these monos out. Buyer adds 3% Paypal and $70 shipping and insurance. shipping only to U.S.
Questions for the seller |
---|
How many watts ac do these usually use playing music? I'm looking to set up a music room in the garage with only one 20amp circuit. Problem?
Thanks.
David Hi David,
Depends, how much else is on that circuit? I ran all my equipment on one dedicated 15 amp line and never tripped the breaker. I play my music loud and had to be careful not to play at crazy volumes for hours at a time to protect my speakers from blowing. Years ago I blew my vandersteens 5A with my JC1’s and they were 400 watt amps. These are 500 hundred watt amps, stayed on all the time, they don’t get hot and never gave me any problems. I’m only selling them because I want to try a McIntosh setup. Hope this helps. |
