Parasound Halo A-23

Up for sale is my John Curl-designed Parasound Halo A23 two-channel amplifier. I used it primarily via the balanced inputs, driven by a Benchmark DAC2 HGC, which gave much more dynamic range and detail than set-ups. And while the power rating of the A23 is 225WPC into the 4 ohms of my Dynaudios-- similar on paper to the Arcam unit I'd been using--, the high-current design really opened them up like never before.

I also looped it into my HT system (via the Benchmark's pass-thru), and particularly enjoyed the increased clarity and bass control with soundtrack material.
