This is not your average 50+ year old Dynaco PAS that needs a rebuild - instead this unit was built with all new brand parts, even including the chassis. You will receive what is pictured: A Dynaco PAS with no tone controls, a corrected RIAA feedback loop, gold RCA jacks, oil and polycarbonate coupling capacitors, new power supply capacitor, silver-plated solid-core wiring, and new Tocos Cosmos volume and balance controls.
Note: balance control was bypassed to maximize sound quality.
You can use this preamplifier as-is with your favorite vintage tube amplifier, or any amplifier with a high input impedance. Or this would be a great base for the countless modifications available for the Dynaco PAS.
The sound is classic tube - warm - but not excessively lush.
