Up for sale; my recently acquired ST-500 mkII.
I was using, an Auralic Aries Mini (AAM) and Mytek Brooklyn DAC...as my front-end; and paired that, with an STi-1000 mkII
Liked the sound; but wayyy more power (460/775), than my PMC Twenty5-23s needed.
In the meantime...I decided to try a PS Audio DirectStream Jr. (DsJ); as an all-in-one, to replace the AAM/Brooklyn...and run as pre-amp, into a power-amp. Liked the STi enough...that I got this ST, albeit with less power ("only" 250/430, lol). For whatever reason...and I don't think it's the amp; it's not a great match, with the DsJ. Synergy...go figure. Gonna try tubes...so off this goes, to a good home.
Indistinguishable from new; purchased from Music Direct as Demo...so conservative 8/10, for age/ownership only. Comes with all, as new.
