These amplifiers have a large number of superficial scratches, primarily on the top cover and handles. For this reason I've rated them 5/10. The amplifiers function perfectly, including all meters and lamps and I can provide videos of them functioning to interested parties. I've spoken to Krell, and the estimate for a full rebuild of these is $3k should you wish to do so.

There aren't many amplifiers on the planet like the Krell Audio Standard.

These amplifiers turn 25 years old this year and are extremely hard to come by. They are a true cost-is-no-object product from one of the best names in high end audio. They cost $35,000 a pair in 1993, back when that was real money. These are the original two-chassis version, not the KAS2, which was a lower cost compromise in a single chassis per channel. These amplifiers are 200lbs. Each. They'll deliver almost 400 watts into eight ohms and double all the way down to nearly DC.

Local pickup is welcome (and obviously preferred). For non-local buyers these will need to ship freight, strapped to a large pallet. The weight will be about 500lbs, and dimensions approximately 60" x 48" x 30".
