I never expected to quit listening to these. They replaced some much more expensive speakers in my system many years ago. The sound is very balanced and clear. A very warm and dynamic speaker. Wife sez too many and I moved on. From visiting dealers I feel these were Jim Thiel's best product. Think it is the drivers, instead of Thiel drivers these were the last model to use quality European drivers, Dynaudio tweeter, ScanSpeak midrange, and Vifa woofer. All with high quality first order slope crossover and slanted front to time alignment. Cosmetically these are very good condition even if age is not factored in. The grille colth is excellent as is finish. Due to price, pick up only is much preferred. Do not have boxes, shipping and boxes will be at least half the asking price. Do have the Thiel equalizer, but it is not recommended to use. It can overdrive the mids and they are the price of the speakers. Would be willing to part out if someone wanted the D-28 tweeters, 3.5" ScanSpeaks, and 10" Vifa woofers. Shipping these would not be too expensive and I think they will bring more than asking price.
