Zu's top of the line power cable. This is the original version [mark-one] and differs from the newly introduced Event Power Cable Mk.II.

Event Mk.I power cables are a combination of both silver and copper conductor—pure copper for the inner circuits, insulated in cross-linked polyethylene, and outer Teflon insulated circuits using silver and copper. Shielding is very heavy tin platted copper braid. They are also flexible and easy to work with, unlike many of our competitors fire hose cables that have less conductor area and way more fluff. Event, with its very high conductance, high magnitude shielding and ZuB3™ electrodynamics technology you are guaranteed the best possible isolation from RF and EMI. Know there are many variables relative to AC power, just one of which is your power cable and there are situations were a power cable will not improve fidelity. We recommend that you trust your ears and  experiment. Reasons for this include the design or condition of your equipment's power supply, gear grounding, system grounding, grid grounding, environment RF, above ground potentials, AC grid condition, and on it goes. Nevertheless, if the power cable does a good job of shunting noise to ground and has good properties relative to fundamental measures, it should sound good; and yes, we feel Zu Event Power Mk.I does these things better than any other competing power cable on the market save our own Event Mk.II (of course).

Zu Event Power cable will require roughly 400 hours of play for full performance. We do not recommend any burn-in devices or special recordings, simply play the music you enjoy, preferably upbeat full spectrum recordings: rock, roots, full orchestra, big band....
