I am the original owner of this LS 17SE, which I purchased just 19 months ago. It's lived in a dedicated listening room of a no-smoking, petless home. I bought it new when my VTL TL-5.5 (Series I) went on permanent mute and put me in a bind. One of my smartest audio purchasing decisions. A wonderful pre-amp at its price point. I am selling only because I decided to go up a step to the LS 28.
I estimate that the tubes have about 700-800 hours on them. I will double-box the amp for shipment via Federal Express Ground. It has the updated, all-metal remote. All original accessories included, even ARC's Phillips-head screwdriver.

| Does this preamp have a balance control? Is that one of the features under the "Prog" button? The button is labeled "PROC," which stands for processor, not program. I have never used it for any purpose. I understand from reviewing the manual that it selects an external A-V processor as the input source and allows the processor to control volume for the left and right channels downstream from the LS17SE. As far as I know, the preamp has no balance control. |
