Sablon Audio King Sablon Now available with Bocchino AC Plugs

King Sablon is now available! You may have thought that I would be satisfied with the $1950 Elite model being favourably compared to several $12k power cords. Wrong! Development work continued in the background and I am finally ready to launch King Sablon. This model represents an evolution of the existing Reserva / Elite power cords, seeing the adoption of the massively overbuilt Bocchino plug-set which also allows wire gauge to increase to 4awg / 20mm sq for lower resistance and better noise rejection. Sonically speaking, this brings some great improvements in noise-floor, dynamic authority, tonal depth and emotional engagement. It is no exaggeration to say that some of the beta testers experienced a sense of bereavement when they came to return the cord. That was the good news. The bad news is that these plugs are extremely expensive and in limited supply to OEM cable producers only, typically with a 2 month lead time. Afaik, only Elrod and PranaWire sell power cords with these plugs and their list prices are @$15,000. I will however will be offering King Sablon at $3,950, direct sales only with the usual Sablon loyalty discount and world-wide shipping privileges included. Given the incremental nature of the changes, a rebuild / trade-in option is available to existing Reserva and Elite owners as well as partial upgrades e.g. Bocchino IEC only to accommodate different budgets and users of non-USA mains plugs which Bocchino do not offer. Demo cords are available for prospective owners to audition in USA / Asia / Europe. Equally for those of you not in the market for this particular cord, there will be some trade-in cords coming available. Finally, the Reserva interconnects are now also available with Bocchino connectors and a demo XLR featuring the new star quad geometry is circulation for audition.
