After being told be several people that any "audiophile" should own a pair, I picked up some k-horns about three years ago in Reno. I lived in a warehouse then and they were amazing - especially with smaller tube amps. accurate? Well, let's just say they are a total blast. My farmhouse doesn't want them inside, it simply rejects them.
They are sequentially numbered decoding as this: KC (klipsch cornerhorn, no collar) BR (raw birch) 13S (built 1978) 567. Performance wise, they appear to be functioning to spec. Cosmetically, there are a few minor dings on corners, and a chunk gone from the top of one. Please look closely at photos.
Unfortunately, I do not have an appropriate space to demo these. I can play them outside, but that hardly works- at least you can tell they function.
If we come close to my asking price, I will likely be able to deliver to the Bay Area. If I am insulted by lowball offers, the offender simply will not get them. Ever. I'm honest and easy, and expect the same.
Outside of that, you are on your own for transport. They will need to be picked up from my place, inspected and documented - thereby releasing my liability.
Thank you for your interest! I’m hardly an expert on these, but will do my best to answer questions, additional photos, etc...
