Audio Space AS-1000 AS 6M Mono Blocks

A great pair of KT 88 tube mono blocks from Audio Space. The correct model is AS 6M. Audio Space makes some of the best, reasonably priced, high end tube equipment currently available. This model has 50 WPC in Ultralinear and 25 WPC in Triode. It also has one RCA line input so can be used as an integrated if so desired ( I never used It this way, and you can bypass this and go direct). I have had some very good tube amps in the past few years ( the Audio Research Galileo GS 150, for instance) and while not as good as the AR, still wasn’t embarrassed by the comparison. All of The factory supplied Chinese tubes (except for 2 input tubes) have been replaced by JJ KT 88 “Blue bottle”output tubes and RCA Black base NOS driver tubes. Made a substantial improvement In tonal density and overall liquidity.
