The HF 3005 Torre floorstanding speaker is the flagship model under the Campanile series. Each speaker weighs just above 120 lbs and stands 63" tall with a 16" square footprint. Although its a floorstander, its essentially a four driver 2-way speaker where two 8" poly woofers "face off" the two 1.125" tweeters in an opposing arrangement which Bolzano Villetri coin it as RoundStream Technology. This basically allows the music to flow out in a 360 degree direction around the speakers and create this enlarged soundstage that fills up the front of your sound room. If you pair this up with their center channel speaker and another pair of Bolzano speakers, you would have a five channel home theater system where the movie soundtrack just engulfs you all around (see our other listings for the models from Bolzano to complete this package). Frequency response for the speaker is 32 Hz to 20 KHz with a nominal impedance of 4 ohm. Sensitivity is 92 dB with a manufacturer recommended amplifier power of 50W to 200W. Cosmetically, the speaker looks good. It was previously a DEMO pair so some scuff marks/nicks from use can be seen here and there but nothing major. The brass plate on the back panel (that lists its model # and other info) has some oxidation which you could try to polish off. Speaker grille covers are great, no tears or holes but a few pegs are missing from some of the grille covers. But they all stay on fine. Each speaker are shipped in their HUGE original flight case so local pickup from our store is preferred. If shipping is required, they will be shipped strapped on a pallet.
