The Music Hall MMF-9.1 is an excellent turntable comprised
of a completely separate motor that only connects to the platter via the
driving belt, a solid inert heavy platter, a carbon-fiber arm (arm made by
Pro-Ject), and an excellent cartridge that was separately purchased for its
smoothness and clarity - the Dynavector Karat 17D3. I upgraded the mat to a
cork type for better performance and the added benefit of not sticking to records.
The original mat will be provided also. I
couldn’t find the packaging for the turntable, and therefore it must be
delivered by local pickup. Location: Northridge, CA in the Los Angeles county.
The Karat 17D3 cartridge in this turntable sounds amazing. I’ve
used it for significantly less than 200 hours, more likely around 100 hours. I
purchased the whole setup for the sole purpose of recording digitally my rare
albums, about 50 of them, as most were not available in CD form, or the CD
transfer was poor. I listen only to digital but have kept the turntable unused
because it looks so beautiful in the corner of my music room. But now I’d like
to add a second subwoofer and I need the space.
The condition of the turntable and cartridge is
like new. All the manuals and the cartridge packaging will be provided but as
mentioned above, I don’t have the turntable packaging materials.
