This listing is for a used Sonic Frontiers SFP-1 vacuum tube MM/MC phono stage. This item has been tested snd is in complete operational condition. I used a Clearaudio Concept turntable with Performer V2 Ebony MM cartridge for testing. LP reproduction is exceptional with a smooth warm tone and wide spatial stereo soundstage. Tubes that are included are a pair of Sonic Frontiers branded 6992 and a pair of JAN Philips 12AT7 that are working well. No guarantee on the tubes.

Sonic Frontiers built some great tube gear in the 1990s and eventually switched to solid state with the Anthem line. The tube gear is absolutely wonderful I have had a few of the pieces here in the last 18 years and have always enjoyed them greatly.

Cosmetic condition on this example is excellent with no detriment. This piece is also physically clean with no dirt or nicotine contamination. I blew out the interior chassis with compressed air. Included will be the power cord.
