McIntosh MC207

The MC207 was ordered through an authorized Mcintosh distributor on 11-25-2015. It was received on 12-12-2015 and I have been the sole owner. The MC207 is in excellent working and physical condition. It has no apparent dings, dents or scratches. The classic black glass panel has no defects and is in great condition. Owners manual and remote control included.  

The McIntosh MC207 Multi-Channel Power Amplifier is designed to offer bold, heart-pounding sound through your custom home theater system. Featuring 200W per channel over seven channels, this power amplifier offers huge sound without compromising audio quality, ensuring your home theater will sound great at any volume from any medium. For added protection when cranking the volume, this home amplifier utilizes Power Guard technology, which monitors the input and output signals and adjusts frequency and volume levels to prevent the audio from clipping or becoming distorted, resulting in a crisp sound with optimal clarity. With seven channels, this audio amplifier is designed for a massive sound from 7:1 home theater sound systems, but is also suited to 5:1 theaters, allowing you to use the remaining two channels on an extra home theater unit. The exclusive Dynamic Power Manager® (DPM) technology enables the MC207 to deliver its full power into both 4 and 8 Ohm speakers - making it compatible with a wide variety of home theater speakers.

The MC207 does not need cooling fans so there is no fan noise to interfere with your movie’s soundtrack. Short-circuit protection is provided by our Sentry Monitor™ technology that disengages the output stage before current exceeds safe operating levels and then resets automatically when operating conditions return to normal. Three blue watt meters provide an instant measurement of power output of the front three channels (the meters may be switched off if they conflict with the television or movie screen). 

The classic black glass front panel, polished stainless steel chassis, knobs and custom machined brushed aluminum end caps make the MC207 an eye pleasing addition to any room.
