The Pro-Ject RM-10.1 comes complete with a 12-pound, dual-layer, acrylic platter with a rubberized brass record clamp. The platter itself is suspended above the plinth by a magnetic repulsion system using a pair of opposing magnets to “lift” the platter, reducing bearing friction and mechanical noise. The outboard motor is tuned for silent operation and keeps vibrations away from the platter. The entire assembly sits on the included Ground-it Deluxe 3 isolation base, which uses opposing magnet technology to eliminate resonance and vibration. It also uses the upgrade Pro-ject Speed Box SE electronics speed control.
