the DA-910 is very impressive. This second-generation reader, launched in 1984, has most of the optical and electronic components of its predecessor and, more generally, first generation readers. However, it is better since the Japanese manufacturer Kyocera, formerly specialized in the manufacture of ceramic components, applies its know-how to the development of this OEM reader by integrating all the ingredients of the 900 series launched two years earlier. Luxurious 3mm thick brushed anodized aluminum case, front feet adjustable in height, very intuitive controls on an elegantly designed facade, all assembled (screwed) onto a CCR composite material base patented by the brand. On the electronics side, the DA-910 uses a Philips Signetics chipset consisting of SAA7011 / SAA7020 / SA7000 / SAA7030 and dual TDA1540 chipsets. The particularity of the DA-910 resides in the use of a third-order Bessel type analog filtering implanted in a waterproof metal case bearing the reference FCL01.
