This new, in the box, architectural in-wall LCR speaker model played an important role during BG Radia's heyday as their most versatile and powerfully dynamic architectural model, alongside the renowned BG Radia audiophile in-wall planar speaker models. 
This PD-6LCRi is a true left, center & right channel in-wall speaker. Why, because the BG Radia Neo3 Planar tweeter can be mounted either as a horizontal center channel or vertical L/R, by a simple mounting change to the NEO3 tweeter positioning in the speaker - easy to do. 
Other BG Radia audiophile models actually required ordering this feature from the factory, not this speaker! This one can be changed when you install the speaker.
Leveraging the proprietary Neo3PDR planar ribbon tweeter pioneered by BG Radia, the planar driver technology minimizes any floor or ceiling reflections, thus improving the sound clarity and accuracy for a breathtaking home theater OR two-channel experience.
To add to the tweeter's stunning dispersion and resolution, the PD-6LCRi features an innovative woofer with high excursion capabilities and very low distortion. This high tech woofer design makes use of compact yet powerful Neodymium magnets to provide an acoustically transparent woofer chassis; dramatically improving midrange clarity by eliminating sound reflections directly behind the woofer.
The superior Kevlar™ cone woofers used in the PD Series not only provide lifelike two-channel clarity but are also capable of achieving the extreme dynamics associated with high performance home theater applications.
As with the entire PD Series, the PD-6LCRi is crafted from high impact, poly-composite frames that are well suited for the entire home. Rugged, paintable surfaces are the perfect architectural complement for custom installations where there is zero tolerance for error and a maximum need for discrete high fidelity. Crisp and clear.
Astonishingly versatile. The PD-6LCRi makes design and install of a high performance In-Wall sound system not only possible but remarkably simple. Wide dispersion, extremely wide sweet spot over the entire listening environment. Powerful Kevlar™ cone woofers feature a rubber surround, Neodymium magnet and acoustically transparent chassis for high output with minimal distortion. Pack the wall with recycled denim or mineral wool and your acoustic performance will improve to seriously rival floor standing speakers. The renowned 3" planar ribbon tweeter produces such an accurate and transparent presence for a sweet spot. It must heard to be understood!
Easy to install glass-filled composite toggle clamps install simply into the in-wall drywall cutout; retrofitting snugly into the wall. Requires 24" OC stud width if you are framing for the speaker when mounting horizontal or notching slightly to fit between 16" OC when retrofitting.
