Pass Labs aleph 2 - "Set B"

For Sale a pair of Pass Labs Aleph 2  100 Watt monoblocks 
 
Replaced the capacitors 5 or 6 years ago. Also added a Capacitor - Resistor - Capacitor modification on the power supply for very low background noise. To me this made a difference in reducing the background noise while not making a noticeable difference in power, but I can remove this and make it back as original. On the oscilloscope there is a noticeable difference in noise on the DC rails of the power supply with the CRC network added. 

Units look very good, the only thing is a bit of fading from black to a bit blue/purple on the heatsinks as you will likely see on all Aleph 2's

I found these amps really drew me into the music, wanting to listen to "one more song. Was using them for mids and highs in a multi-amp system but I am downsizing to lower powered Aleph amplifiers.  Midrange and highs are very detailed, natural, and very 3 dimensional and lifelike.  Only downside to these amps are that they get very warm, somewhere around 40 degrees C.      

Nelson Pass and Kent English have responded to recent emails asking about both product and service on other Aleph products. Their service cannot be beat. For example, in November Nelson himself helped me with a JFET mod to the input of a different amp (Aleph 30) to reduce noise by around 12 dB.

Note that I have (2) advertisements for Aleph (2)'s - both sets sound the same and have virtually identical parts inside. This ad is for for set "B" and the pictures are for set "B".

Their are (2) boxes to be shipped, both are 17" X 17" X 16" high and weigh 54 pounds each.
