The London (Decca) Reference phono cartridge is the top of the London line of direct-scanning (cantilever-less) phono cartridges. One of the most dynamic and realistic sounding cartridges currently available. This cartridge normally retails in the US at $5000.00.

A high-mass tonearm is recommended to get the best out of this low-compliance cartridge. The provision to damp the arm is desirable though not a strict requirement. A fine-line stylus contour provides excellent tracking.
