The Octave V110 integrated has been succeeded by the new V110SE. As with all Octave products, the V110 is explicit, transparent and dynamic. It produces around 100w into 4 ohms and with one of the add on black boxes, stable down to 2 ohms. Octave amplifiers have powerful and extended bass, much like solid state in that regard. The entire musical range is illuminated from within enabling one to hear deep into the mix. It isn't bright or etched but capable of revealing subtle details and dynamic contrasts with ease. Includes the removable cage and a remote that operates volume only.
