The most refined amp under $3000. Are there trade offs? Yes but minor. 12AX7 input tubes. MOS-Fet outputs. 100 w/ch high current.
Here are the disadvantages. 1. Not outrages power but enough for most. 2. Bass is not as strong as a pounding amp like Parasound but articulate and delicate like a Plinius. 3. Plane looking.
Here are the advantages 1. completely grain free and relaxed in a way that a lot of $10,000 amps don't do. 2. Great soundstage that is also natural and equal in depth and width. 3. Flat out embarrasses big boys like Krell and Levinson. Even makes Audio Research sound compromised. 4. Easily upgradable to the Elite model that is the most under priced amp on the market. Has some of the magic that Makes amps like Berning and LAMM famous at a fraction of the cost.
I will accept returns if this amp doesn't redefine value for you.
