EAR ACUTE CDP

I am offering an EAR Acute CD player in very good condition.  Purchased new in 2010 from an authorized dealer for $5500 and upgraded Amprex tubes from Andy at VTS for about $185.  Sound is detailed, yet warm and full.  IMO, one of the best players I've heard in this price range, bested only by some very expensive players such as the Linn CD12 and the DCS Puccini.  Cosmetically it is in very good condition with minimal scuffing. The  transport got a little flaky after about a year and was replaced with a new one that has worked perfectly since then.  This unit has a digital output but no digital input, so it cannot be used as an external DAC.  Analog volume control, so it can be used directly into a power amp without bit-rate loss as happens in units with digital volume controls, so I'm told. . Original packing is large double-box so shipping may be a bit pricey.  The box is 24 x 24 x 12.  Don't know the weight, but I'm guessing around 35 pounds.   Thanks for looking.
