Concert Fidelity DAC-040BD Battery Power - Digital to Analog Converter - USB Interface

Audio Archon is an authorized Convert Fidelity dealer.   This DAC-040BD is with battery and the updated internal battery charging system (to help the battery last longer).  This unit is in excellent condition and comes with a full warranty!
Throughout years of testing many different DAC's this is our all time favorite for rebook CD or CD resolution files (about 99% of our music collection). The DAC is 16 bit, but can handle resolutions up to 96 kHz and will play 24/96 or 24/88 files.

The "BD" version uses batteries for the digital side while maintains AC for the tube rectification and gain stage. This opens up the soundstage further, puts more air between instruments and better blackens the background...truly amazing!

UPDATE - This CF-040BD has SPDIF input only. However, if you wish to use with a computer or network player with a USB or Ethernet we can supply the Lumin U1 Mini or Bricasti M5 for an extra charge. This is a good way sonically, as it completely isolates the Computer/USB from the DAC (several other top DAC's have it this way with a separate USB box as well).
