ModWright SWL-9.0 se Signature + Upgrades

This is an incredible preamp that is more resolving than a stock ModWright LS-36.0 (a $5000 preamp) due to its upgrades. This model has the Signature upgrade containing the tube-rectified power stage, and I will include a fantastic NOS Mullard 5AR4 with the unit. In addition, Dan Wright further upgraded this unit with a rare Black Gate capacitor in the power stage, which lets the sound breathe like no other. These caps are now sold out everywhere and sold online for up to $1000. The main preamp tubes are also upgraded to NOS Sylvania that generally cost $250-300 for the pair. They blow the NOS Tung-Sols the unit originally comes with out of the water, but I will also include those tubes.

I am letting this unit go because I am switching to a fully balanced setup, and I recently purchased the ModWright KWA 150 SE amplifier, so I am upgrading my pre setup to the LS-36.0 DM (with the extra $5000 separate power supply upgrade).

The remote does have wear, but it still works.

Oh, and the Isoacoustics feet on this unit are NOT included -- I will will place the original feet back on the unity before I sell.
