Lamm Industries M-1.2 Reference

Rave reviews. This is a push-pull hybrid pair of monoblocks.  Depending on your speaker impedence of 4 or 8 ohms it delivers 110 class A watts.  

It is extremely flexible with both RCA and XLR inputs.  On the rear has a load selector switch that allows you to choose a high (16-7 ohms) or low (6 to 1 output impedance.  Set on low, it delivers 220 into 2 ohms and 400 watts into 1 ohm.  Set at higher lever it delivers 220 into 4 ohms and 400 watts in 2 ohms and 600 watts into 1 ohms.   It will drive any speaker effortlessly.
Vladimir, the owner and designer, has a very special background in tube engineering and is the reason his products surpass the competition and has won a truckload of awards.   He is a percussionist, but more importantly he worked in the Soviet military complex as Chief Design Engineer of Research and Development at the Lvov Radio and Electronics factory.  He had the resources and a large pool of test material for conducting hundreds of double-blind listening experiments.  The benefit is his designs benefit from all this experience in psycho-acoustics and research.

The quality of parts is unsurpassed.  High reliability is the payoff.  The realism of the music, tonally and in incredible detail, is stunning.   There are many, many reasons these amps have such sublime reviews and that very few of this amp appear on audiogon.

About 2 years very light use because i travel in my work.  Bought from authorized dealer.  I am only owner.   My system is very expensive.  I treat all my equipment with care. It has one slight mark on panel on one amp.  Hard to see in picture.  If in a rack like mine, not see it.
