Conrad Johnson Premier 12XS Triode mode monoblocks.
Tube compliment per monoblock: 1X 5751 2X 6FQ7 4X EL34
They come with 2 full sets of tubes, both old and new unused replacements.
The driver tubes came directly from CJ. Output tubes were purchased from Audio Outlet. Output tubes are individually biased, so matching tubes are not required.
They contain no electrolytic caps anywhere, including the power supply. If you have ever looked at the gain charts in the RCA Tube manual you will see all the common tube types, and while pentode mode has more gain triode mode is always more linear. That might explain why after a friend just heard these amps driving Wilson Sasha DAWs he referred to the experience as "spooky deliciousness."
Original boxes, cages, and owner's manual are included.

On the rear panels are upgrade stickers. Do these show C1 upgrade notation?
Thank you. This unit does not have the C1 upgrade. You would have to ask CJ if they put update stickers on C1 upgrades, I don't have that info.

CJ uses the same sticker format when doing upgrades. These have two stickers: one with model and serial number, and the second when the unit is changed or upgraded. If these were normal ultra linear units from the factory, then changed to the triode "XS" version, it would be noted in the 2nd sticker. Same goes for any other change or upgrade. Viewing your pics, while very difficult to see, they may have C1 upgrade. I prefer the original units over the C1 upgrade, thus my request for clarification. They have definitely been modified by the factory.

The Teflon upgrade is not on these amps.
