Pair of Altec Lansing 804-8G co-axial studio monitors, in wood cabinets. All original, great condition, original owner. I made these cabinets back in the mid 70’s, from 1-3/4 thick solid core door stock w/oak veneer. They haven’t seen regular use since the mid ‘80’s, when my kids came along. Sealed cabinet roughly 5 cu ft. Most audiophiles would know how to add tuned port to make more like factory if you want more bottom. Turned the speakers 180 a few times to minimize cone sag. Efficient, never had (or needed) a big amp, don’t need it. No damage to speakers, don’t hear anything but the audio.
Going deaf (Not from these!), otherwise I was very happy with them. These are heavy units, I’m old, so it must be a local/pickup in western suburbs of Chicago if getting the cabinets. I’ll sell just the speakers and x-overs, but it’ll break my heart. Overall size 48hX27wX18d 120# ea?
