Joseph Grado Signature 10MR Phono cartridge

Here is a very rare original Joseph Grado Signature Model 10MR - It is a magnificent sounding phono cartridge sounding phono cartridge with superb trackability (equal to Shure V15 V) and far more dimensional and holographic. Extraordinary transient response. Very linear and unhyped frequency balance.

I found this treasure among my hardly ever played elite pick ups. If it has less than fifty hours use that is saying a lot since I always have rotated my treasures. This one has not had much use so it is practically a hand picked cherry as new a 10MR as you will find. Always stored in a Central air conditioned room and a non-smoking user.  I feel this series of Signature cartridges are perhaps much closer to the sound of reality than the  newer ones. This is my opinion. They were supervised and built by the old master himself, Joseph Grado when he was running the company. The golden age indeed!

It has a genuine Signature 10MR stylus made during the supervision of Joseph Grado himself. Today's replacement stylus may fit the cartridge and perform acceptable but it is not exactly same as this original. No longer made.

I feel confident you will be very happy even surprised with this treasure in the right tone arm. It is a Flux Bridger design of high output of 2 mv so no step up device is required.

One of the three best cartridges highly rated by the Absolute Sound in those days. A must for classical music, jazz and acoustic music.
