The Bryston BDA-1 is a natural, detailed DAC that had plenty of glowing reviews. This particular unit is 6 years old and is in excellent condition both physically and sonically. Don't let the asking price fool you as this was one of the state of the art DAC's in its introduction. It features dual 192K/24 bit crystal DAC's, separate analogue and digital linear power supplies and discrete Class A output stage. Audio inputs include USB, Coaxial, Optical and AES/EBU. Over sampling is done by synchronous up-sampling (176K/192K). Software upgradeable via RS232 port.
