Audio Research DAC 3 in very good condition. 115 V.
This is a superb sounding all tube DAC, employing four 6922 (6DJ8) tubes, very strong and near new.
Cosmetically this unit is very clean, the only flaw I can find is a bit of cosmetic damage to a small piece of the optics input which has absolutely no effect on hook-up or performance. Originally, this small metal corner had what appeared to be a hairline fracture, and it just fell off. Please see photos of the bare optics input, and the input solidly connected to the optics cable. Selling price is adjusted for this flaw.
Included are owner's manual, original power cord, original box and packing, and four brand new original Ei PCC-88 tubes. Many listeners like the sound of the PCC-88s over the 6922s; you be the judge, they are interchangeable.
