Musical Fidelity TRI-VISTA 300

Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista 300 dual mono integrated amplifier with power supply.

This amplifier was specially produced in limited series of 500 items, to mark the 40s anniversary of the brand ( Serial # is TRY0197 ). It is still considered to be the best integrated amplifier ever produced in the brand's history. It has a huge power - 350 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 600 watts per channel into 4 ohms. The amplifier is basically consists of two separate power mono amplifiers and a preamplifier for the left and right channel separately, all built into one case with the total weight of 30kg, and a power supply with separate outputs for the right and left mono power amplifiers and a preamplifier, built into another case of 16kg. The Tri-Vista uses a military valve in the input stage and a transistor in the output making it very musical. This also results in a massive but detailed sound stage.

This amplifier was sent to an authorized service center in January, 2019 for routine maintenance. The maintenance consisted of cleaning the rotary switch contacts for the knobs, replacing capacitors, and new tubes.
