I have a lightly used Lejonklou Gaio MM only Phono Preamp for sale. I purchased this to use while I was having a custom tube preamp built at 4x the price. I'm honestly surprised at the fact that this little unit is getting me 99% of the sound of the more expensive unit I just commissioned.

This unit is a 115v North American model, and is v1.0. Not sure why they sharpied out the 115v to highlight the 230v, because it is absolutely the US model. I emailed the owner of Lejonklou regarding upgrading this to a 2.0 and his response was very clear: there wouldn't be any noticeable sound quality difference. It sounded like the 2.0 is just a consolidation of a couple of parts to be in easier line with the higher tiered model (Slipsik 7). His suggestion was to spend any money on just moving up to the Slipsik if there's a desire to move beyond this particular unit.

Michael Fremer has written about this unit and referenced it multiples times over and is clearly one of hist favorite MM phono stages of all time, constantly praising its smoothness, liquidity, lushness, sweetness, rich full sound, feathery air, being a "tonic for the digitis", and plug and play ease (all descriptions pulled from a couple of his reviews).
