Sonus Faber Venere S - Signature Italian Floor-Standing Loudspeaker

Sonus Faber's Venere line is their top selling product line of all time.  Striking a perfect balance between elegant aesthetics, striking performance and reasonable cost.  The 'S' model or Signature is the only speaker in the line that is fully designed and built in Italy.  It offers a number of performance and appearance upgrades to make it outstanding.  It reaches nearer to the Olympica series performance than any other speaker in the line, while having better lower end response.
 
This is a demo pair with very low hours of usage, typically less than 2 or 3 total.  The drivers and grills are flawless.  Real walnut veneer cabinets are near perfect with just a couple of small imperfections from being on display in our private showroom.
All accessories including the aluminum bases, spiked foot kits and speakers covers are like new.  All original accys are packed in the padded kit box.    
What make the S so special?  The S adds 3, 180mm woofers with a specially designed bottom firing control port for authoritative bass with definition.  The speaker also sits on a machined aluminum plate and aluminum spikes  for better stability.  It also includes matching caps and floor protectors, both in machined aluminum.  The base features a diamond cut edge for a hint of luxurious flair.  The 'S' als features a more accurate tweeter than any of the other Venere products.
 
While the S uses the Venere's extremely effective Lyre shaped cabinet, it adds additional finish details and refinements.
