As a favor for an old friend, I've agreed to list these loudspeakers as he is unable to do so. They are in good condition, both cosmetically and playing-wise. To be clear : The two "Dual-Concentric" 15 inch drivers [one in each cabinet] are not matched physically but have been used as a listening reference stereo pair by their owner, a career symphony musician, for many years without any hint of a mismatch in their performance. The attached photos show the drivers removed from their cabinets and the difference is obvious. Due to their size and weight, it would be preferable to have a buyer pick them up, but shipping could be arranged at extra cost. I have done my best to show serial numbers and other detail for those especially knowledgeable in Tannoy lore. I will do my best to answer any questions that a prospective buyer might have. I remember back in the days when Tannoy loudspeakers and Bozak loudspeakers were the two top choices in the beginnings of the audio hobby. I chose the Bozaks because of the simpler infinite baffles they required, but always wondered if I wouldn't have enjoyed the Tannoys in their folded horn cabinets even more. So many speakers --- so little time ! The owner related a tale of listening to these speakers when, in the finale of a rather bombastic orchestral piece, an organ joined in and managed to vibrate several framed family photographs to the floor in a pile of shattered glass ! Every audiophile's dream !
