This listing is for a vintage Technics SU-8600 stereo integrated amplifier. This item has been serviced, tested, and is in 100% operational condition. Both channels are clean and clear with no hum, buzz, noise or distortion and all controls are smooth and quiet.

I personally replaced 18 small capacitors 3.3 uf, 47 uf, 100 uf, and the two large reservoir caps 15,000 uf with Panasonic high quality parts. Total parts count is 23 small capacitors, 2 large capacitors, 10 small transistors, 4 output transistors, 10 diodes, and 1 resistor. The relay was also removed and cleaned, all pots, switches, and RCA sockets treated with Caig DeOxit D5 cleaner.

Additionally the unit went to Deltronics Service in Woodridge, IL where the output and driver transistors were replaced, protection circuit checked, the unit biased, tested, and given a clean bill of health. Unit just picked up on 07/10/19.

Audio quality is fantastic the rebuild has brought this piece into a higher level of audio reproduction.

Cosmetic condition is exceptional with little signs of wear on this 40-year-old vintage classic. The wood cabinet is in fantastic condition with no determent. This is also physically clean with no dirt or nicotine contamination. You will receive all the old parts.
