For offer is a beautiful as new Cary Q 5er Prototype
Speaker system with maple cabinets accented with hand inlayed walnut trim. With a crossover
designed by Cary Audio's Dennis Had. The Q5-er is a small floor stander --
dimensions are 7" x 36" x 10" (WHD). The base at the bottom
makes the width and depth 9" x 12". The Q5-er uses two 5 1/4"
woofers that yield incredible bottom end depth for such a small speaker and the
soft dome tweeter has great extension that's never bright. Their small
footprint and front-port design makes for easy placement, even in small rooms.



90dB sensitivity and 6 Ohm impedance makes them a great match with tube amps. These lovely speakers were purchased but not used for a small custom listening
room. Perfect unblemished and in the original packaging, double boxed with the
original manual and receipt from Upscale Audio. This was a great sounding
protype design that was to be released for $3,000 featuring an exceptional bass
reflex design with a smooth sounding Silk tweeter. These are fabulous with a
SET!

Designed for small tube or solid-state amplifiers on
5-150 watts. 

The only other Carys for offer are listed for nearly 3 times this price  additional dicount for pick up. I want these beautiful speakers to arrive at a new home safely
