McCormack DNA-125 Platinum Plus

You cannot find a better, more highly upgraded DNA-125. All work has been done by Steve McCormack himself including a recent tune-up (July 2019) and series of upgrades that include:

Improved output transistors
Output wiring
AC Inlet and Bypass Cap
AC Wiring
Low Current Cap Compliment
High Current Cap Compliment
Lots of real time listening / adjustments and other proprietary stuff

The original round of upgrades was dubbed the "Platinum Plus" because in addition to the usual Platinum upgrades that I'll list below, the customer opted for the massive Plitron custom toroidal transformer. In Steve's words, "There isn't a speaker that this amp can't drive." I believe the original upgrades cost around $3,000. I could find out for certain.

I am only the 2nd owner of this amp and I bought it from a very fastidious audiophile via the community at our local store Brooks Berdan, here in Monrovia CA. The original owner spend $30,000 on his amp upgrade.

Here are some of the details on the Platinum upgrade:
