The highly rated DDRC-88A is a powerful room correction system that utilizes DIRAC Live and can be connected between the pre-amp outputs of any processor and external amplifiers. DIRAC is considered one of the best room correction system available. The combination sounded great in my 7.2.4 home theater when connected between a Marantz AV8802A and my external Parasound/Rotel amplifiers. It supports both RCA for single-ended I/O as well as Phoenix connector blocks for differential I/O (can purchase Phoenix to XLR cables separately or make you own).
The DDRC-88A can also be upgraded to the DDRC-88BM which includes Dirac's latest improved bass management firmware for $99. There is also a separate remote control which I did not purchase with these two units from MiniDSP (see miniDSP website for both items)...
I have sold one of the two units. The DDRC-88A includes the packaging, power supply, and rack ears. The unit looks brand new. The manual is downloadable from MiniDSP as well as firmware updates.
The PC software application for DIRAC calibration and firmware updates can be downloaded from MiniDSP by contacting them to setup an account and transfer the license for the hardware when purchased.
I will include the UMIK-1 calibration microphone ($75 from MiniDSP) as well as USB cables for connecting the DDRC-88A to a PC, an active USB extension cable for the UMIK-1, and an accessory tripod for holding the UMIK-1 during calibration at asking price.
